	Purus International Inc. was founded in November of 2002 and began operations in January of 2003.   Purus was founded to fill an ever widening niche in the industrial cleanroom mat market.  Purus International concentrated on a limited number of distributors in the US, European and Asian markets to offer a high quality cleanroom mat line. Since that time, Purus International has grown to become the leading supplier of cleanroom matting for the US and European markets.  We have built on the relationships with our primary distributors to form alliances and partnerships that resulted in new product offerings.  Later in 2003, Purus expanded our mat line to include the Intro Mat and Sport Mat for the Home, Leisure, and Workplace markets. In 2004,  Purus introduced a new and innovative line of cleanroom paper and documentation and in 2007,  Purus added the PureTouch glove liner.   All of these products were the result of customer needs and requirements that were not being met in the marketplace. Located in the Coachella Valley, near Palm Springs, CA, our domestic and international sales team, customer service and management staff is committed to bringing products to the cleanroom industry with an emphasis on quality, value and service.
	Purus International, Indio CA.  The headquarters for Purus is located in Indio CA.  All of the US operations are coordinated from this location.  A complete ready-to-ship inventory of all Purus products is located here for immediate availability.   In addition, the Purus IntroMat is manufactured here for use in the home, office and industrial markets.   Purus Worldwide Manufacturing. The Purus Mat is manufactured to the most stringent ISO quality standards in our South Korean facility. The extrusion, coating and laminating of film to produce the PurusMat is all done here. Container shipments are continually sent to all Purus warehouse locations.   Purus International Milano. The European logistic operations for Purus International are handled out of Milan Italy.   Inventory of Purus products for distributors based in Europe and the Middle East are maintained here to offer exceptional service and delivery.       Purus Cleanroom Solutions, LLC.   October, 2009,  Purus announces the addition of our newest European location -  Purus Cleanroom Solutions, LLC in Limerick, Ireland.   Operations from this location will target new opportunities in the European market.
	Key Personnel
	Dennis Baldwin is the founder and President of Purus International.  Prior to the start of Purus in January of 2003, Dennis was with ALMA Inc. of Palm Springs, CA from 1985-2001.  He served as the Sales Manager, Vice President and President of ALMA Inc. until the sale of the company in 2001. He then assumed the position of General Manager of the business unit ITW-ALMA until 2002.  He currently oversees all aspects of the production, sales and operations of Purus International in North America, Asia and Europe.  Dennis holds a BA in Economics from the University of CA, Davis and lives in Palm Desert CA with his wife and three daughters. He can be contacted at dbaldwin@purusint.com Brad English is the Sales Manager for the Western Region and is responsible for the sales and long term strategic development of this region.  He joined the Purus team as they opened their doors in January, 2003.  Brad has been directly involved with sales, marketing, and bringing new products to the semiconductor, disc drive, pharmaceutical, medical device, and other cleanroom industries.  Brad started his career in the cleanroom industry in October of 1994, as a Distributor Rep. in the San Francisco Bay Area.  From July, 1996 to February, 2001 he worked as a  Manufacturer’s Rep where he was awarded top sales growth for 1997, 1999, and 2000.   Brad holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from California State University of Chico.  He lives in Southern California with his wife and family. Brad may be contacted at benglish@purusint.com Mike Carey is the Sales Manager for the Eastern Region and is responsible for the sales and marketing of all Purus products in that region.  Mike came to Purus International in 2007, with more than 16 years of cleanroom sales experience.  Prior to joining Purus International, Inc., Mike was a Regional Sales Manager for a fortune 200 company in the cleanroom industry.   Mike was also a Regional Sales Manager for a Texas regional distributor and responsible for the cleanroom contracts with three major electronic manufactures in the Austin area.  Mike is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College with a BS in Education and resides in Northern Indiana with his wife and two children. Mike can be contacted at mcarey@purusint.com Mike Curdes is the Sales Services Manger for Purus and oversees all sales order and customer service operations.  Mike has been in the customer service field since graduating from Loyola Marymount University in 1983.  Prior to joining Purus in 2003 Mike worked for ALMA Inc. from 1998-2002. Mike lives in Palm Desert, CA. Mike can be contacted at mcurdes@purusint.com Jean-Paul Gaulard is the European Sales Manager covering Europe and North Africa and is responsible for the sales and marketing of all Purus products in that region.  Jean-Paul has a long history in the cleanroom industry in the US and Europe working for Hughes Aircraft Microelectronics, Texas Instruments and Exide-RayOVac.   In 1982 he founded Techni-Industries France. Techni Industries did cleanroom manufacturing of different hybrid circuits for military and aerospace Industries.  He also developed a distribution division of Techni for products and equipment for cleanrooms, antistatic, electronics and adhesives.   The company employed over 50 people prior to its sale in 2005.   Jean-Paul Gaulard is a Microelectronic Engineer from Institute Superieur of Electro Sciences and lives in France, near Paris,  with his wife and family.
